Letters to Liberation: Black August (AFROPORTALS)

In collaboration with AfroPortals, EastSide Arts Alliance’s Archive (CARP) has put together a one-day exhibition “Letters to Liberation: Black August” featuring letters written by the San Quentin Six to Soledad Mother, Inez Williams, from their “Soledad Mothers” special collection, art posters, pamplets, and other publications that honor the freedom fighters of the Black Liberation Movement, abolitionists, and those who fight against systemic oppression and racism.
