Andres Cisneros-Galindo presents a large-scale painting of the Aztec God, Quetzalcoatl - the Feathered Serpent. Rendered as a monumental triptych, Coatl embodies the power of Quetzalcoatl to give La Raza the impetus of Life and Movement towards the liberation of the people.

We the People of the Sun walk in the Fifth Sun.
The First Sun came to an end when La Raza was devoured by Jaguars
The Second Sun came to an end when strong hurricanes and vast floods destroyed the world
The Third Sun came to an end through a rain of fire
The Fourth Sun came to an end under a great deluge

At the end of the Fourth Sun, Quetzalcoatl traveled to the fiery depths of Mictlan - the underworld - and offered their blood and breadth to give rise to the people of sun - to La Raza - who now inhabit the Fifth Sun.

Now, we find ourselves in the Fifth Sun, where Quetzalcoatl gives us the breadth of Life and Ollin gives us power through Movement to continue the struggle for the liberation of La Raza.
