Sudan: A Black History Cultural Event

Gather to celebrate Sudanese culture, learn about Sudan's rich legacy and how to support the Sudanese people in the present.

The evening's program will feature radio host Hana Baba as the MC;

with the Shabbal Sudanese Dance Group, as well as a Sudanese Arts and craft exhibit table.

Presentation by the Sudanese Association of Northern California to share the history and culture of Sudan.

Presentation by the Sudanese American Physicians Association on background of the current war, the situation on the ground, and the relief they provide.

Donations go to the Sudanese Association of Northern California, which helps provide relief to families displaced by the war; and to the Sudanese American Physicians Association to go toward their ongoing medical support in the war zones.

Sudanese light refreshments will be served.
