Bobi Wine: The People's President, previously titled Bobi Wine: Ghetto President, is a 2022 Ugandan-British-American documentary film written and directed by Christopher Sharp and Moses Bwayo. It chronicles the presidential campaign of popular Ugandian singer Bobi Wine against long-ruling regime leader Yoweri Museveni.

The Fist Up Film Festival presents films that are intended to create impact, inspire discussion and foster understanding. By placing emphasis on the connected experiences between global and local communities, The Fist Up Film Festival creates visual parallels between people’s lived experiences and stories from around the world.

October 4-14th in the Bay Area, California. Fist Up believes that social justice films don't have to make the audience feel horrible about the state of the world. They focus on uplifting stories that show our power!

For 15 years Fist Up Film Festival has been free for filmmakers to apply and free / donation based for our community to attend. When you make a donation to there site you are not guaranteed a seat. It is first come first served, so show up early!
